In addition to her own work, Mary Mercier looks for opportunities to merge words with visual art. She has collaborated with artists on a number of occasions, including Martha Glowacki and her installation, “Starry Transit,” staged in 2005 at the Washburn Observatory of the University of Wisconsin.

Snow Geese in 5 panels, was created for that installation.  It is now a part of the permanent collection of the University of Wisconsin-Madison libraries.
